Scientist are fairly common enemy in Episode 2, The Facilities. Scientists are melee-only enemies, wielding an injection needle. Upon spotting the player, they will emit an evil laugh, and begin walking at a brisk pace towards the player character. While appearing weak, Scientists can take a bit more damage than other classes around their size. Their attack can hurt an unaware player, so be aware of your surroundings when you hear the laugh.
They are first encountered at the end of the Episode 1, apparently guarding The Experiments. They are encountered fairly regularly in Episode 2, typically in scientific areas.
They appear to be normal human men, wearing a laboratory coat, grey undershirt, red and black striped tie, black pants, brown shoes, and some sort of full head mask or helmet with slits for eyes and a metal mouth cover. Scientists will often appear in groups.
