Dusk is the main setting of the first two episodes of Dusk.
Background[]
Dusk is located in western Pennsylvania, near Centralia.[1] The outskirts of Dusk are rural with sparse houses and farmland, but the town sign indicates it once boasted a six digit population and its inner sanctum is more akin to a metropolitan area and industrial center. It was the hometown of the Intruder.
Appearance[]
The town of Dusk is mentioned indirectly throughout the game, and the player goes through the foothills surrounding the town throughout the episode, it however does not physically appear until E1M8: Through the Gate and E1M9: Ghost Town, and finally E2M6: Erebus Reactor.

Trivia[]
- Although canonically Dusk is regarded as a town, it's in-game depiction is more akin to a city, due to the presence of Skyscrapers in E2M6: Erebus Reactor.
- Dusk is either the second or third largest city in Pennsylvania, having a population of somewhere between 166,006 and 966,996.
